Nick Cannon Reveals His Stance On Child Support
Nick Cannon has been building a big family. He has fathered at least 12 children with six different women, some of which are still on the way. Recently, he even shared he would want to have a number thirteen with Taylor Swift. With such a big family, many questions have surfaced as to how much Nick Cannon actually pays in child support. Nick Cannon has given some insight in an interview that discusses his stance on paying child support.
Nick Cannon Gives Additional Details About Child Support Payments
Rumors have circulated that Nick Cannon doesn’t pay child support. In an exclusive clip of his interview on REVOLT‘s ‘The Jason Lee Show’ obtained by Distractify, Nick Cannon gave details about his child support payments. In general, people have questioned how much the mothers of Nick’s children are being supported. As it turns out, a large chunk of his income is paid out to the mothers. The Masked Singer host spoke out about the rumors of being a “deadbeat dad.”
In an effort to clear things up, Nick told Jason Lee, “It’s funny because there was a narrative saying, ‘Nick Canon don’t pay child support.'” Nick continued to tell Jason Lee, “What I was saying is that I am not in the child support system that is ran by the government. Their money is my money. They can have whatever they want.”
Nick continued speaking about his kids’ mamas regarding child support, “My account is their account and it’s a lot in there. So we are not going to run out.”

One Big Happy Cannon Family
In many ways, Nick Cannon feels “villainized” for continuing to grow a big family. Yahoo Entertainment quoted Nick saying, “I hear all the time: ‘You can’t be present for all those children,’” he said. “So, therefore, I get this deadbeat dad title.”
Nick Cannon had twins Moroccan and Monroe, 12, with ex-wife Mariah Carey during their marriage from 2008-2014. He and Brittany Bell have three kids: Golden, 6, Powerful, 2, and Rise, 7 months old. He fathered twins Zion and Zillion, 22 months old, and daughter Beautiful, 5 months old, with Abby De La Rosa.
Bre Tiesi and Nick Cannon together are the parents of their son Legendary, 9 months old. Nick shares Onyx, 7 months old, with LaNisha Cole. He and Alyssa Scott had their son Zen in June 2021, but sadly he died 5 months later. The couple have since welcomed daughter Halo, 4 months old.
Family Funding
Despite his big crew, Nick Cannon claims that he is not only staying present with all his kids, but he has the funds to pay to help raise them. Yahoo Entertainment quoted Nich Cannon saying, “When you think about my lifestyle, I have to generate at least $100 million a year,” Cannon told the outlet, confirming that he does make that amount annually.

Nick Cannon did not release exact figures of how much he pays each child’s mother, but he ensured he pays enough to care for each child. He said he spends more than the suspected $3 million on his children, so he never intends to participate in the governmental child support system.
Nick’s main goal is to be present in person or virtually with each child. He wants to be a good father even if he is using a non-traditional method.
