The Vanderpump Rules episode that viewers will watch on Wednesday, May 10th was supposed to be the true Season 10 finale. However, the moment that ‘Scandoval’ broke in early March, cameras went right back up. Production wanted to capture everything they possibly could including new cast interviews. It was major when it was discovered that Tom Sandoval had been cheating on Ariana Madix with their close friend and cast mate, Raquel Leviss. The writing had been on the wall for some time. Sandoval and Raquel were spotted at The Abbey alone after midnight. This information circulated throughout the group but so many people loved Raquel, they dismissed it.

She then slept over at Ariana and Sandoval’s home only the former was not in town at the time. This also circulated around the group of friends which was concerning. At the end of last week’s Vanderpump Rules, Ariana Madix learned that Sandoval had lied. Lala Kent had been at a party he was at when Ariana’s grandma passed away. He claimed he could not get a ride out but he really just wanted to stay with Raquel. Of course, Ariana started to see she could not trust her man of nine years. So, what was supposed to happen?

According to the latest Give Them Lala podcast, tonight was the real season finale. In fact, this was the last episode that the cast saw prior to the reunion. They never saw what would end up being the explosive Season 10 finale. Tonight, Katie Maloney and Madix do a soft launch of Something About Her. At the same time, Katie and her ex-husband, Tom Schwartz fight it out but Raquel interrupts. Finally, Tom Sandoval discusses his issues with his relationship with Ariana.

How It Really Ends

As the rough cut of the leaked finale trailer shows, it begins with Ariana and Sandoval laughing at the opening of her sandwich shop. Then, it falls apart. Though it was maintained that Vanderpump Rules was not re-edited, Lala Kent shared that was ultimately untrue. When she rewatched recent episodes, especially last week, she saw things that would not have made it in the show. However, they were put in due to the affair. The epic finale will show the cast’s reactions to learning Tom Sandoval cheated, him and Ariana coming face to face, her breaking down, and so much more. For entertainment value, it might have been for the best.
