Savannah Chrisley Dumped Because Of Todd & Julie’s Crimes?
Savannah Chrisley has confirmed she was in a relationship with country singer Nate Smith. Unfortunately, she was dumped largely due to the crimes of her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley. No, the reality TV star didn’t clarify whether it was her or Nate that broke things off. Moreover, she wanted it to be clear to her viewers that she had absolutely nothing bad to say about him because he was an incredible guy. They were just at places in their lives right now and it was too complicated for them to be in a relationship right now.
Todd and Julie Chrisley to blame for Savannah’s break-up?
Now, the Chrisley Knows Best star did not come right out and point fingers at her parents. She, however, did more or less imply while speaking to her guest, Erin Dugan (who also happens to be the head producer of her podcast) that her relationship with Nate Smith likely would have continued if she wasn’t the guardian of Chloe and Grayson because of her parents. The reality TV star admitted the hardest part of things ending between her and Nate is realizing that he may have very well been the right person for her, but the timing was tragically wrong.
Nate Smith’s career as a country music singer is currently taking off. And, Savannah points out that he needs a significant other who can go to concerts and red carpets, and award ceremonies with him. She clarifies that she could be a supportive partner and do these things. But, because she has children, she couldn’t be there for Nate without feeling guilty about leaving Chloe and Grayson behind. Presently, Savannah admits that when she gets away for alone time it is never for more than 48 hours because anything more makes her feel tremendously guilty.
Savannah Chrisley does make it a point to note that Nate Smith was an incredible and understanding guy. But, they both needed a partner who was a little more available and they were both currently at places in their lives where time wasn’t something they had to give.
Now, Savannah remains good friends with Nate. And, the door is always open for another try at romance in the future. But, for now, she doesn’t know how to separate being a caretaker and having a personal life. And, she needs to figure that out before she can commit to someone fully.
Unfortunately, it does go without saying that she wouldn’t be in this situation if it wasn’t for the crimes committed by her parents, Todd and Julie.
