At the time, she had fans buzzing about her rumored romance with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy. The British singer watched her show in lieu of the recent dating rumors.

“It fills me with such pride and joy to announce that my version of Speak Now will be out July 7 (just in time for July 9th, iykyk),” Taylor Swift wrote in her social media post. “I first made Speak Now, completely self-written between the ages of 18 and 20. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diarist confessions, and wild wistfulness.”

She also shared the album cover and brief synopsis of her album. Swift referred to her fans as “dear readers.” Speak Now was her third album, which included singles like “Mean,” “Ours,” and “The Story Of Us.” The album set records by selling over a million copies in its first week. Swift is sure to break records again after she released her latest studio album, Midnights.

Teased book release?

One fan thinks Taylor Swift teased a possible book release. One fan who goes by the moniker “degraceful” took to TikTok to share a theory. The fan noticed that she used “dear reader,” which is a track on Midnights. She also mentioned July 9th, which could be the publication date of her book.

They took it even further by checking out books scheduled for release on that day. Per Macmillan Book Publishers, there’s one book that is coming out that same day by a mystery other. It’s predicted to sell one million copies. The book doesn’t contain politics and is a “fun” read that will include plenty of behind-the-scenes and rare shots of the singer throughout her life and career.
