Are ‘Pump Rules’ Fans Losing Sympathy For Ariana Madix?

Are Vanderpump Rules fans starting to lose sympathy for Ariana Madix? Of course, they feel horrible that she was cheated on by her boyfriend of almost a decade. More so, he was unfaithful with her best friend. Yet, on Wednesday night’s episode, the clues were so evident that it seemed Ariana had to be blind not to see them. Are Pump Rules Fans Losing Sympathy For Ariana Madix?

When news broke in early March that Tom Sandoval had cheated on Ariana Madix, it made heads spin. They spun even faster when it was discovered that his mistress was none other than Raquel Leviss. She had become extremely close to much of the cast and was one of Ariana’s closest friends. Raquel had become so close to the girls that she was a bridesmaid in Scheana Shay’s second wedding alongside Ariana. To add insult to injury, the affair had been going on for months and during some of Ariana’s worst times. Her beloved pup, Charlotte had passed away then her grandmother died. She was not okay.

Fans and co-stars immediately rallied around Ariana Madix and she became the queen of the show. However, now that viewers know the timeline of the affair, which started in August 2022, they are started to see very visible signs. The way that Tom Sandoval and Raquel interact is offputting. Plus, they do things without Ariana which is also quite strange despite being “close friends.” Now, after this week’s episode, fans are starting to lose sympathy for Ariana and they shared it on Twitter. “I’m sorry but Ariana is an idiot. Like??? I’m flabbergasted by everything in this latest episode,” one fan tweeted.

Not Thinking Clearly

Ariana Madix admitted on Wednesday’s episode that she had suffered so much with losing her grandma and her pup. She was barely hanging on and Madix does have a history of depression. This has been documented on the show. Fans brought up that her judgment may have been clouded due to her pain. So, even though Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss were parading their affair in front of everyone, Ariana was not mentally there. She also wanted to believe that Tom was “ride or die” for her but, at the end of the episode, learned that he would rather party than comfort her.
