‘Mystery 101’ Stars Reunite One More Time: How Hallmark Mystery Fans Can See Trio
Mystery 101 fans are still processing the news that Hallmark has pulled the plug on the Signature Mystery Series. Now the stars of the series, Jill Wagner, Kristoffer Polaha, and Robin Thomas are reuniting for one special online event. What is this event and where can Sleuthers watch it?
Hallmark Mystery 101 Stars Reunite One Last Time
Late on Saturday night, Kristoffer Polaha announced on his Instagram something that should interest Mystery 101 fans. He shared a red carpet photo of himself in a great pink suit, along with Jill Wagner, and Robin Thomas. Kris wrote, “Join @jillwagner @robinthomasactor and other special guests as we reminisce about #mystery101 only on the #polahachautauqua at 4pm Pacific.”
That is right! The Mystery 101 trio is reuniting to talk about working together on this Hallmark series. The A Dickens Of A Holiday! star also hinted that there will be others associated with the show in the online reunion event. He didn’t name names, but they will surely add to make this event special.
What Is A Polaha Chautauqua?
Sleuthers may wonder what a Polaha Chautauqua is. This is a weekly online event hosted by Kristoffer Polaha. Back when the worldwide pandemic started in March 2020, the Mystery 101 star Kristoffer Polaha started a weekly segment to connect with his fans around the world. He sang, he spoke, he connected. Eventually, this morphed into the Polaha Chautauqua. According to his website, this is “a place where Kristoffer, his friends, and his fans gather to learn, grow, and share their human experiences.”
When Did Hallmark Cancel Mystery 101?
It was just a week ago that Sleuthers found out that Hallmark ended the series. This was likely a social media mistake as a fan asked on a Mystery 101 marathon post on Facebook when Hallmark was going to make the eighth movie. “Been waiting a long time for the new Mystery 101 to come back can’t imagine Travis and Amy not getting together!!!”
The response was shocking.
We loved making Mystery 101 and we’re so glad you enjoyed sleuthing along with us. We want to let you know that our talented sleuths have solved the last mystery and are off the case. In the coming weeks and months there are exciting new mysteries on the way that we know you’ll love!
On the Hallmark Mysteries & More podcast, screenwriter John Christian Plummer hinted that the way this cancelation was announced was a mistake. In addition, he shared that he found out the Friday before the cancelation. That would have been April 21. However, Plummer did not share if he knew the reason why they did not continue the series.
Since then, Sleuthers have been distraught over this cancelation. This special event promises to help continue the healing.
Don’t miss the big Mystery 101 reunion on the Polaha Chautauqua on Instagram Sunday, April 30, at 4 p.m. Pacific, 7 p.m., Eastern, and 6 p.m., Central time. Sleuthers, will you be watching this reunion?
