Prison Break star Dominic Purcell put a ring on it and now he and Tish Cyrus are officially engaged. The couple has been together for around nine months now. In April 2022, Tish Cyrus filed for divorce from her longtime husband, Billy Ray Cyrus for the third time. The two had been married for nearly thirty years but had a lot of ups and downs. Yet, the most shocking part of their parting ways was how Billy Ray moved on with a much younger woman, Firerose. The two had collaborated together in 2021 and, shortly after Tish filed for divorce, the two were spotted everywhere together. By Fall 2022, they confirmed their engagement and it was a bitter pill to swallow for his daughter, Miley Cyrus, whom he shares with Tish.

However, Tish was also about to find her own happiness again as she and Billy Ray had spent a few years not really together before filing for divorce. She started seeing Dominic Purcell who had previously been linked to actress AnnaLynne McCord. They seemed very happy together and now, Us Weekly can confirm that they plan to extend this happiness to forever. Tish Cyrus shared the big news on her Instagram with a few photos. His arm is wrapped around her waist and her manicured hand is holding his. With her right hand in her jeans pocket, her left is on his.

A prominent diamond can be seen on her ring finger with the caption: “A thousand times…. YES ❤️ @dominicpurcell.” Another photo is the two of them with Dominic staring at Tish while he is seemingly holding the ring box. His family was quick to comment. “I can’t wait to get drunk on expensive champagne at your wedding. Happy engagement you two 🥰🥰,” Therese Purcell wrote. His daughter also shared her excitement by resharing the engagement post in her stories. She called them a “beautiful example of love.”

When’s The Wedding?

It seems that they may be on the fast track down the aisle. Though it seems that Firerose and Billy Ray Cyrus rushed their romance, they had known each other for some time. It is unclear if Dominic Purcell and Tish Cyrus had a long-standing friendship prior to dating. However, they have only been together for less than a year. Therefore, it seems like they are wasting no time making this love permanent.
