Lala Kent talks complicated family court system

In a new interview with ABC, Lala Kent will talk about the complicated family court system. She sat down for an exclusive interview coming up on a program special. On Thursday, April 27, she teased the interview with her Instagram followers. The VPR co-star shared the behind-the-scenes photos from the set.

As fans already know, Lala is currently in a custody battle with her ex-fiance Randall Emmett. The former couple shares a two-year-old daughter, Ocean. Lala has opened up about the family court system on social media. She even took part in a protest last month.

“Shedding light on a topic close to my heart,” Lala Kent wrote in her Instagram Story. “Honored to share my experience and what needs to be changed in the family court system. Can’t wait for you all to see!”

She also took to her Instagram feed to share another shot from the set of the ABC interview. Lala Kent captioned the shot: “Coming soon to ABC” with a camera emoji. Fans wondered what she was talking about. Most of them are looking forward to her interview.

VPR co-star takes part in a protest

As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Lala Kent wanted to shift the public’s focus to more important matters. She took part in a protest in front of the Stanley Mosk Courthouse last month in Los Angeles. Lala wasn’t there to discuss the Scandoval, which erupted the Bravoverse.

Rather, she wanted to vocalize her feelings on family court system abuse. Lala teamed up with One Mom’s Battle, who spoke out against the reunification camps. The court system separates children “from their preferred parent or safe parent despite their allegations of abuse or mistreatment,” according to Page Six. Lala felt it was important to shine a light on what was happening in the country.

“The abuses of the family court system have never been more glaring to me as a single mother raising my daughter, Ocean,” Lala Kent told Page Six. “I can only hope to bring light to these inequities in the system, and together with Tina Swithin and One Mom’s Battle, we hope to continue shedding more light on this subject.”

Lala Kent is in the midst of a bitter custody battle with Randall. He’s accused of many sexual assault allegations, some of which are against minors.
