‘BIP’ Raven Gates Talks Birth Plan, Marriage Advice & Pet Peeve
Bachelor in Paradise alum Raven Gates is currently pregnant with her second child. She keeps fans in the loop on life and pregnancy and now that includes her plans for her second birth, marriage advice and her big pet peeve. What did she have to say? Keep reading to get the scoop.
Raven Gates talks marriage advice and pet peeve
Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk are one of the Bachelor in Paradise success stories. How do they make their marriage so successful? Raven has some advice for her followers. Bachelor Nation shared what Raven had to say when a soon-to-be-married fan asked for her thoughts.
She said, “The best marriage advice we were given is that marriage is not 50/50. It’s 100/100. There will be times where your partner will be at 1% and you’ll have to be the 99%. And vice versa. So we both need to strive to be our best & be 100/100 partners.”
Raven went on to say that it’s important to find someone to love that will help make the bad times easier. Life is hard enough so find someone who will ease those times. She advised followers to find someone who is easy to love and easy to forgive.
As for pet peeves, Raven and Adam both have one for each other. Adam hates it when Raven fills empty dishes in the sink and lets them be crusty instead of rinsing them out.
Raven hates that Adam can’t sit down. Even to eat he is always standing and just won’t let his mind relax. She said, “My pet peeve about Adam is that he can’t sit down. He will stand up to eat. He just can’t relax. He does not know how to turn his mind off, which is a good thing in some parts of your life, but he just can’t slow down and it can be hard for him to enjoy a moment.”
Her birth plan for baby number two
Raven also shared recently her birth plan for baby number two. When she had Gates, she had an emergency C-section. When fans asked her recently about her plans for their new baby she revealed thinking a C-section might be best.
Lots of fans shamed her for that. Raven would love to have a vaginal birth but that is not possible. She said, “As many of you know the first time I had an emergency C-section and this time I was hoping for a vaginal birth. But unfortunately, after my anatomy scan, due to a medical issue with my placenta I cannot have a vaginal birth. It’s a completely different issue than what I had with Gates.”
So, she didn’t go into specifics but it’s not possible for her to have a birth plan other than C-section with baby number two.
She also shared she has another ultrasound next week. Will she and Adam reveal their baby’s gender soon?
