Gary King speaks out on love triangle

In a new exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, Gary King talked about his love triangle with Daisy. He admitted that he lost his dance with Daisy. He confessed to her in Season 2 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht that he had a crush on her. Now, Gary’s seeing things lately as he loses her to someone else.

“Now, I’m shooting myself in the foot,” Gary King told Entertainment Tonight. “Daisy and I have had a connection — well, I certainly believe so, for many years — and I think there’s chemistry and… it certainly hit me.”

He didn’t pursue Daisy in their first two seasons. Rather, Gary hooked up with the other crew mates on Parsifal III. In Season 4, the chief stew was caught between the first mate and the chief engineer. This is the first time that fans will see Colin as a single man on the show.

Gary King admits that he didn’t get “the chance” to be with Daisy. He confirmed that he was feeling “jealous” about their boatmance. Fans will get to see how Gary feels about their hookup later this season. He still feels they still have “chemistry” between them.

“Looking back now, after the season, going back to previous seasons, seasons 2 and 3, you can kinda see there was maybe a connection between Daisy and Colin,” Gary King continued. “I certainly noticed it.”

Their Below Deck romance couldn’t work

No matter how he feels, Gary King thinks their relationship could never work. They live in two different countries. Gary only wishes that he would’ve pursued her two seasons ago. He doesn’t want to get in the way of Daisy’s relationship with Colin.

“I guess I didn’t shoot my shot just knowing we live two different lives,” Gary King said. “I guess that could be my only reason, and I’ve never believed in long distance. I’ve tried that, and it didn’t work out, and I’d said I’d never do that again.”

The friends only each other “two months a year.” That wouldn’t make for a sustainable relationship. Fans will have to see how Daisy’s relationship with Colin develops. She teased that they go through it this season.
