‘Bachelorette’ Trista Sutter Reveals Shocking Move By Production

Bachelorette Trista Sutter spills the tea
Trista Sutter spilled the tea about what happened during her season of the show on a recent episode of the Almost Famous podcast. Trista along with two other Bachelor alums Bob Guiney and Ben Flajnik was discussing things from their respective seasons. Ben revealed that he still had all of the suits he wore throughout his season of The Bachelor. This is when Trista stepped in with her tea.
Trista revealed that she did not have her clothes from her time as the lead. She said, “I had a connection to Saks, I ended up making a deal with Saks Fifth Avenue and went shopping. This [was] my own thing, like it had nothing to do with producers.” She continued saying, “I get all this stuff, and I’m all prepared and halfway through, I’m going in my closet, and I’m like, ‘Wait, where are my clothes?’ and [the producers] are like, ‘We’ve been selling them’… Selling them!”
Ben and Bob were both shocked by Trista’s revelation. She shared she did manage to snag a few of her formal dresses but overall producers sold her clothes. Plus, she reiterated they were her clothes and did not belong to the show.
While Trista left her role as The Bachelorette with very few clothes that even belonged to her, Ben said he went home with six suitcases full. Bob also said he kept a lot of the clothes however not nearly as much as Ben.
She got her happy ending
While Trista didn’t walk away from the show with a ton of clothes, she did walk away engaged to the love of her life. In fact, Trista and Ryan are still married and living in Vail, Colorado with their two beautiful children.
Ryan has struggled with Lyme Disease and has shared his journey to recovery with fans. His recovery even involved a partnership with a company that Good Morning America refused to air. However, Ryan continues to improve and get his health back.
Trista has stood by his side through it all. They are truly the OG couple when it comes to The Bachelor franchise. They are the model couple all others look up to.
