Natalie Morales has a good relationship with CBS in which she has an expanded role on the network. However, some fans still remember the time when she was a co-anchor on the Today Show. She considered making the move for years. Once CBS came to Natalie about a potential gig with The Talk, she knew it was her sign. Natalie was finally able to do the work she always wanted to do on her own terms. While Today Show viewers were shocked over her exit, she felt that it was time for a change.

“I knew The Talk could really showcase my personality, but also that I knew I would have great chemistry with the other co-hosts, which I had at the Today show, of course, but living here in Los Angeles — this is the big game in town,” Natalie Morales told People back in January 2022.

She appeared on the talk show in the past as a guest. That’s when Natalie realized that she got along with the co-anchors and crew members. She said The Talk “felt like home.” The television personality couldn’t see herself anywhere else.

Natalie had “zero hesitation” about her position on The Talk. She knew that she was the right fit for the position since she already loved the show. Having her part of the lineup was just years in the making for her. Natalie co-hosts the show with Amanda Kloots, Jerry O’Connell, Sara Gilbert, and Sheryl Underwood.
