‘RHOSLC’ Jen Shah Needs To Pay Her Attorney Fees, How Much?
Jen Shah has seemingly forgotten to pay her attorney fees and now they are catching up with her. The RHOSLC star entered jail in February and has been very productive while incarcerated. However, she is not off the hook for the crimes she committed or her legal fees. So, how much does Shah owe and can she make the payment? Read on for more details.
Jen Shah Needs To Pay Her Attorney Fees, How Much?
Since Jen Shah entered prison, she has been very busy. First off, her 6.5-year sentence was reduced by one year, which was a huge feat for the RHOSLC star. Then, it was revealed that she had been helping out in the prison educational system. She had been teaching reading to those who needed it. This was shared when it came out that Jen was getting a play together based on inmate housewives. Before it could fully come to fruition though, Jen Shah had to help her team learn how to read and such.
Plus, she has been working on her fitness, losing weight behind bars as she is not a fan of the food there. Finally, her jewels have been seized to help pay the 6,5 million back to her victims. However, it seems that Jen Shah has someone else that she needs to pay, according to Monsters & Critics. Initially, Page Six gathered the court documents where Shah’s attorney, Priya Chaudhry, alleges she is owed over 120K by her client. Shah has not paid 50K in outstanding legal fees.
To add to that, Chaudhry says that there is also $74,422.95 owed for “other expenses” whatever those may be. Jen Shah’s attorney had previously asked that Jen Shah no longer be a client. Along with her husband, Sharrieff, Jen: “repeatedly promised to pay these outstanding amounts, and the firm continued to provide services, relying on the written engagement with [Shah] and the promises of her husband.” This seems to never have happened therefore Chaudry wants nothing to do with the Shahs ever again.
Still A Hot Topic
Jen Shah and her shady dealings became a hot topic once again when RHUGT3 premiered in late March. Her co-stars, Heather Gay and Whitney Rose are a part of the cast. Many may recall that Heather had a blind loyalty to Shah up until the moments before she entered her guilty plea. In fact, Heather revealed to her RHUGT cast mates that she did not know about the guilty plea until minutes before it was entered. That was when Jen let her know what she was doing. Since it had just happened, the housewives on the trip were eager for the tea. Therefore, Jen Shah was back, making housewives rounds.
Do you think that Jen’s attorney should get to drop her as a client for non-payment? More so, should she cut her losses and just walk away from the situation or should Jen Shah pay up? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
