Dolores Catania confirms Ozempic weight loss

During the interview, Andy Cohen told Dolores Catania that she looked “thin.” She responded with a “Thank you.” Andy asked, “Ozempy?” to which she confirmed with a resounding “Yup.” The Bravo star laughed. Once again, Dolores confirmed that she was taking Ozempic.

Andy joked that most of the Real Housewives cast members were taking the Type 2 diabetes drug to get snatched. Dolores believes the claims. Andy said that at least half of the RHONJ cast were on the drug and she agreed with him. He then asked her if she discovered any side effects while on the drug.

Dolores said she hasn’t had any other issues, other than “just not hungry.” Fans took to Twitter to call out Andy Cohen for “praising” Dolores for losing weight with Ozempic. Many diabetes patients can’t get their hands on the prescription due to the shortage. Most of Hollywood and the elite have been getting access to it.

The WWHL viewers were getting sick of the constant praise for a drug that people need to treat their Type 2 diabetes. Some of them noticed that Andy Cohen continues to support the Real Housewives cast members who use it. There was even more backlash on social media after that episode aired.

On a previous broadcast of his Radio Andy episode on SiriusXM, he shared that same message from the viewer. Andy Cohen denied “praising” Dolores. He simply just wanted to know how she lost the weight. The Bravo head honcho loves it when they’re honest about their weight loss.

“I was happy that she told the truth about it, by the way, because there are so many people who aren’t,” Andy Cohen explained. “I’m trying to deliver the goods for my audience watching. I mean, if Dolores shows up looking 15 pounds lighter, I gotta find out how it happened.”

The Real Housewives of New York alum Bethenny Frankel called out the Ozempic trend. So has Lala Kent from Vanderpump Rules. Ozempic and similar drugs Mounjaro and Wegovy have been hailed as the new weight loss drugs since the FDA approved them to treat obesity in 2021. Now, those who don’t need to lose weight are misusing them.
