Meri Brown Says ‘Life Is Unpredictable’
TLC star Meri Brown has been on a roller coaster ride since the latest season of Sister Wives wrapped up.
Shortly after the tell-all, she and Kody Brown confirmed that their marriage was officially over. It’s not quite clear how the show will proceed without the wives, but Meri, Christine, and Janelle aren’t looking back.
To celebrate her newfound freedom, Meri even opted for a new hairstyle. And now, she’s taken some more time to reflect on her circumstances after officially splitting with Kody.

Meri Brown reflects on life’s ups and downs online
Of course, Meri Brown’s followers know that she thrives off of cryptic social media posts. She’s never quite been comfortable sharing what’s really on her mind, so fans think this is her way of trying to get her feelings across.
This week, the Sister Wives star chose to reflect on the unpredictability of life.
Meri shared the following poem to her Instagram story:
“Life is unpredictable,
It changes with the seasons,
Even your coldest winter,
Happens for the best of reasons,
And through it feels eternal,
Like all you’ll ever do is freeze,
I promise spring is coming,
And with it, brand new leaves. -e.h.”
Since the post was on Meri’s Instagram stories, fans couldn’t directly comment. However, her followers can definitely see how the message applies to her current position in life.
When Kody and Meri Brown married and later became a polygamous family, they probably didn’t think they would end up where they are today. It’s tough to say exactly which situation Meri is referring to in her Instagram story, but there’s definitely no shortage of situations to choose from.
Is the TLC star “fake?”
Although cryptic messages have been a staple of Meri Brown’s social media content for years, not every follower is impressed. In fact, some have gone as far as to call Meri a “fake” for both her online and onscreen presence.
Surprisingly enough, Meri Brown didn’t exactly deny the allegations. In another social media post, she also discussed putting on a facade to mask her true feelings. But for seasoned Sister Wives viewers, this hardly comes as a surprise after how they’ve seen her behave over the years.
Online, Meri seems intent on putting the past behind her and moving on. But some Sister Wives fans argue that she’s still desperate for Kody’s love and attention.
