Katie and her husband Travis Clark are officially parents! The couple tied the knot in December 2021, and on Feb. 17, 2023, their baby girl was born. They named her Hailey James. She’s doing well and growing up quickly. She’s already taken a trip from New Jersey to Tennessee to meet the Bates family.
Since her arrival, Travis and Katie have shared many photos and videos on social media. But they tend to keep things positive and show off her adorable expressions or cute outfits. They don’t always show the more challenging moments.
Now, Katie is getting real with fans about both the good and the bad.
The new mom embraces the ups & downs of motherhood.
On Instagram this week, Katie Bates Clark shared a series of adorable new photos of her little girl in the bathtub. The one-month-old was as happy as ever as she soaked in the warm water. In her caption, Katie gave fans a rundown of what had happened and why her baby was in the tub.
She said:
“Early this morning my little angel decided to spit up everywhere! As I got out of bed to clean her up, I noticed myself feeling a little overwhelmed, but as soon as I put her in the bath and saw this smile, I quickly remembered how blessed and thankful I am to be her mom! I love taking care of you, Hailey James!”

Of course, Bringing Up Bates fans are loving these photos and are glad to see Katie’s positive perspective during some of the harder moments in motherhood. Many are also doting on the adorable baby girl. Hopefully, Katie will have more cute photos to share very soon.
