Selena Gomez doesn’t want to feud with Hailey Bieber. However, their fanbases have gotten out of control with their unwarranted attacks and troll behavior. She admitted that Justin Bieber’s wife reached out to her and is receiving “death threats” amid their ongoing drama. Selena doesn’t want to spread hate.

That’s not something she stands for. Even though both of the ladies are guilty of stirring the pot, Selena wants to put an end to the drama. She’s settling the feud between them. Selena shared a strong message on her Instagram Stories on Friday, March 23.

“Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she’s been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity,” Selena Gomez wrote in a statement shared on her Instagram Story. “This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop. ❤️”

This is the first time that Selena has spoken out about their feud. She alluded to it in previous social media messages. Selena and Hailey connected at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’s annual gala in late 2022, where they hugged and posed for pictures. It seemed like they were on good terms until the past month when they were dragged into a social media feud.

Selena Gomez has been linked to Justin Bieber since 2011. The two dated on and off until he quickly moved on with Hailey in 2018. The two got married in September of that year. Selena has moved on as well, but her fans still feel strongly about that love triangle.

Hailey brought up their feud in her September 2022 appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast. She put an end to the rumors that she was the other woman in her husband’s previous relationship with Selena. Hailey admitted that she respected their relationship when they were together. Yet, their fanbases have their own theories and stories as to what happened even if they weren’t there.

Earlier this year, fans assumed that Hailey shaded Selena Gomez’s social media posts. They also brought up old videos of the two supposedly shading one another.
