‘GMA’: Lara Spencer Slays In Backless Red Dress

Lara Spencer reveals Oscar gown

Earlier this week, Lara Spencer took to Instagram to share shots of her Oscar look. She was one of the few Good Morning America co-anchors who attended the biggest night of the year. In the first Instagram post, Lara wore a red one-shoulder dress that featured a cut-out along the hip. The television personality wore her blonde hair in an elegant updo with a side swoop.

She kept the rest of her Oscar look simple aside from her diamond dangle earrings. The ABC personality stood and smiled alongside Brooke Glaser, Courtney Mason, and Amy Haden in her hotel room. Lara Spencer captioned the post: “Team GMA at the Oscars.” She returned to Instagram to share another shot.

This time, she playfully fondled the Oscar statue at the event. Lara kept her back to the camera as she showed off her cut-out dress, which revealed a bare back. She looked back at the camera and smiled. Lara Spencer joked in her caption: “Both of us went backless.” The co-host included the hashtags “Vintage,” “Kaufman Franco,” and “Oscars.” She also revealed that she got her diamonds from Mitchell Stores.

GMA fans split over Lara’s Oscar look

Her Oscar dress left Good Morning America fans divided. The Academy Awards took place live at the Dolby Theater on Sunday, March 12. Lara Spencer walked the red carpet with her co-host Whit Johnson. Some fans claimed that she was “the best dressed of the night” while others didn’t love her look.
