‘DWTS’: Jenna Johnson Shares The Rough Side Of Parenting
Jenna Johnson couldn’t be more excited about exploring motherhood. She’s a first-time mom to two-month-old Rome and is loving the experience.
Although fans were sad to see her sit out on Dancing With The Stars Season 31, they were excited to see her cheer her husband Val on from the audience. During the course of the season, Jenna’s baby bump continued to grow.
But just like many other first-time mothers, the professional dancer is also discovering some of the challenges that come along with that role. Keep reading to see what she shared on social media this week.
Jenna Johnson has a messy start to her Saturday morning
Since Dancing With The Stars is on break until September, Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy have plenty of time to adjust to their new life. They’ve been dog parents for years, but now they have a beautiful baby boy at home too.
Jenna gave birth to Rome Valentin Chmerkovskiy on January 10, 2023, and the family has been over the moon ever since.
But bringing a new life into the world isn’t always glamorous.
Jenna Johnson shared a video on her Instagram story this weekend revealing that Rome had an upset stomach at some point.
“Happy Saturday!! Hope your morning is going as great as mine,” the 28-year-old dancer wrote on the video.
She stood in front of the mirror, showing that her shirt and pants were covered in vomit. Then she panned over to the bed, revealing that Rome threw up there too.
He’s still a little guy, but it appears that Rome can really make a mess!
Since the post was on Jenna’s Instagram story, fans couldn’t directly comment. However, there are plenty of other parents out there who can definitely relate to Jenna’s hectic Saturday morning.
Fans that want to keep up with baby Rome can easily follow both Jenna and Val on social media for cute pictures and more.
Friends and fans of the Chmerkovskiy family can’t get enough of Rome
It will be quite some time before Rome Chmerkovskiy is able to talk. However, Jenna and Val are excited to raise their son bilingual. Val’s first language is Russian, so he plans to teach it to his son as he grows up. Dancing With The Stars fans are eager to see Rome grow up through his parents’ social media pages.
The Chmerkovskiy family’s friends Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert loved meeting Rome quite a bit — they admitted meeting him gave them baby fever.
However, Derek and Hayley probably haven’t seen one of Rome’s epic spit-up moments. They might want to spend a little more time with him before they decide to have a little one of their own.
