Dance 100 sashays onto Netflix this March
According to Meaww, Dance 100 will be hosted by Peleton instructor Ally Love. Viewers that are big fans of Peleton are definitely going to be in for a special treat!
So what exactly can viewers expect from Dance 100? How will it be any different than other dance competition shows?
Reportedly, eight gifted lesser-known choreographers will compete for a chance to become the hottest dance idol. Everyone wants a chance to climb their way to the top.
“The competition will get more intense with each round and more members of the Dance 100 will participate in the show until all 100 of them hit the stage for an epic finale,” Meaww writes. “The eight dancers have worked for artists like Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Clarkson, Cardi B, and more. However, things will be different for them as this time, their dancing skills will be tested.”
Starting March 17, 2023, all six episodes of Season 1 will be available for Netflix subscribers to stream.
Who are the competing choreographers?
As previously noted, eight choreographers will compete for the top spot on Dance 100. These talented individuals come from many different walks of life and are ready to show off their dance abilities.
They are:
- Keenan Cooks
- Rudy Garcia
- Brandi Chun
- Rex Kline
- Akira Armstrong
- Celine Edmondson
- Max Pham
- Janick Arseneau
On March 17, Netflix subscribers will get to know the dancers better. But for now, interested viewers can get to know each candidate through their Instagram page. Who do you think has what it takes to really win it all?
Meaww shares that, “the choreographers will get the challenge of creating and designing ‘mind-blowing dance routines, pulling from a pool of elite dancers known as the ‘Dance 100.’ Notably, the number of dancers will increase with every round until the final surviving choreographers will have to craft a massive dance performance featuring 100 dancers. Unlike other dancing competitions, the dancers will cast their votes to decide who stays in the competition for another week and who goes home after each performance.”
In a nutshell, there will probably be plenty of drama along with showstopping dance numbers.
