As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Raquel sent a warning to her castmates. She didn’t want Ariana or her co-stars to leak the intimate video of her FaceTime session with Sandoval. In just over 72 hours, new details about their affair have come to light. Raquel apologized to Ariana and her friends. She is setting boundaries and seeking counseling. Find out what she had to say.
Raquel Leviss issues an apology to VPR cast
The former pageant queen is trying to make amends. After giving radio silence, Raquel Leviss took to Instagram to issue an apology. The 28-year-old released a lengthy statement where she seemingly owned up to what happened. Raquel wants to come clean about the scandal.
The Bravo star issued the statement to Entertainment Tonight, who posted it on their Instagram feed. Raquel Leviss is staying away from social media during this time. She apologized to Ariana, the cast, and her friends. Despite the recent reports, Raquel claims she is “not a victim” in this affair.
“I want to apologize for my actions and my choices foremost to Ariana, and to my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships. There is no excuse, I am not a victim and I must own my actions and I deeply regret hurting Ariana.”
Raquel Leviss is taking this time to learn from her actions. She is seeking counseling and setting boundaries in her life. The reality star shared that she’s “learning things about myself such as my patterns of codependency and addiction to being and feeling loved.”
Her biggest priority right now is her mental health and friendships. In her statement, she wants to correct her actions. Raquel Leviss admitted that she seeks “intimate connections” that “are not healthy.” The television personality shares that is “taking steps to understand my behavior and make healthier choices.”
Bravo star focuses on her mental health
Raquel Leviss confirmed that she has “been physically assaulted.” Reports revealed that Scheana Shay allegedly punched Raquel when she learned about the affair. Raquel shared that she “received death threats and hate emails” when the news broke. She opened up about her people violating her “privacy” when they revealed her real name is Rachel.
For now, she’s taking the steps to protect her mental health. While Raquel understands that she’s on a reality show, she doesn’t appreciate the backlash that’s come with this news. For now, she will prioritize her mental health first and foremost.
“I have begun counseling to end my unhealthy behavioral cycle, learn to set stronger emotional boundaries and learn to protect my mental health. I don’t expect sympathy, understanding or forgiveness. Right now I must focus on my own health and well-being and as I strive to be a better person moving forward, I will prioritize my mental health and learn from my mistakes.”
On Monday, Raquel sent cease and desist letters to Ariana, Sandoval, and her Pump Rules castmates involving the ongoing situation. Ariana learned about the affair when she saw an intimate video on Sandoval’s phone. What are your thoughts on Raquel Leviss’ apology? Do you think she owned up to it?
