Katie Bates Shares Good News Amid Concerns For Baby Hailey
Bringing Up Bates star Katie Bates Clark returned to social media with a good report amid concerns for her new baby girl, Hailey James. As TV Shows Ace reported, she and her husband Travis Clark received some concerning news at a recent doctor’s appointment. The new mama took to social media with a tear-filled message and shared what was going on. Now, she’s back with better results than she was expecting. What’s going on, and how is Hailey doing now?
Katie and Travis welcomed their little girl to the world on Feb. 17, 2023. They are adjusting to parenthood and sharing many sweet updates with fans via social media these days. Of course, Bringing Up Bates viewers are loving all of the adorable photos.

Katie Bates shares concerns about Hailey’s weight.
As TV Shows Ace reported, Katie recently took to her Instagram Stories in tears because, at Hailey’s pediatrician appointment, she wasn’t back up to her birth weight. They scheduled a follow-up appointment a few days later to see if she had gained any weight. If she hadn’t, they would have to supplement with formula. While Katie acknowledged she wants to do what was best for Hailey, she also felt very emotional about all of this.
In response to Katie’s concerning posts, she received lots of advice and prayers, which she very much appreciated. She said she was implementing fans’ tips to try to get Hailey to gain some weight before her next appointment.

Fortunately, after the follow-up appointment on Friday, Katie Bates Clark returned to her Instagram Stories with a positive update. She shared a new photo and said that they received “the best news.” Then, she explained, “When they weighed Hailey this time, she was actually 3 oz. over her birth weight, which was such an answer to prayer!!”
Luckily, the baby girl’s jaundice levels are good now too. Finally, Katie added, “Thank you to everyone who prayed for us! We appreciate it!”
