On Wednesday’s broadcast of The View, the panel discussed the COVID-19 pandemic. They wondered if the government covered up its origins. Some health organizations originally claim it was from an infected bat that spread to humans. Now, FBI Director Christopher Way is saying the virus leaked from a lab.

Late-night talk show host Jon Stewart shared his own thoughts on the pandemic in a clip. He admitted that everyone focused on politics rather than its origins. Whoopi Goldberg ranted about COVID’s origins. She said it brought hurt the Asian community because they were blamed for “bringing it into the country.”

Alyssa Farah Griffin mentioned that over 7 million people died from the virus. She feels it’s important to learn about its whereabouts so the world can prevent “another massive pandemic.” Alyssa believes the claims that it originated in a lab. That’s when Whoopi Goldberg interrupted her.

Sunny Hostin interrupted Whoopi and said she believes the government was covering up the information about it. She says there’s “uncertainty because the Chinese did not cooperate with the international community.” Whoopi continued to interrupt her and told her to “hold on” at one point. The show suddenly went to a commercial break.
