Michelle & Jim Bob Duggar’s Relationship
Jim Bob and Michelle got married in 1984. At that point, he was 19 years old and she was 17. They started their family a few years later. In 1988, they welcomed their first child, Josh Duggar, to the world. They went on to have 18 more kids, and now, they have many sons and daughters-in-law, as well as grandchildren.
Today, they’ve been married for 38 years now.
Did He Ruin Her Life?
In a new Instagram post this week, Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball shared a throwback photo of Michelle back when she was a cheerleader in high school. The blogger talked about how Michelle attended public school and had a fairly normal upbringing. As shown on the family’s TLC shows and social media, her life has changed drastically.
Katie Joy explained, “Neighbors used to ask her to cover up when she mowed the lawn in a bikini and short shorts. Michelle was a normal teen until Jim Bob came in and brainwashed her. Poor thing probably mourns her former life.”
