Jonah Johnston is the eldest child in the family and the first biological child of the couple. He was born on December 1, 1999, which makes him 23 years old at the time of writing. He works as a car salesman and moved out of his parent’s house last season.

Jonah Johnston Makes A Shocking Admission

The TLC star made a shocking admission on the show stating that he experimented with a drug called Delta 8 which is a strain of synthetic marijuana. He admitted that he had a really bad reaction to it as the substance isn’t regulated by the FDA or any other government body. So, it is legal yet it had a scary side effect when Jonah used it.

Elizabeth Johnston Is An Aspiring Nurse

Trent and Amber Johnston’s second child, Elizabeth Johnston is also their biological child who was born on December 7, 2001. This makes her 21-year-old at the time of writing. She decided to go into nursing and wishes to be a pediatric nurse practitioner. The aspiring nurse is also dating her boyfriend Brice Bolden. She moved out of her parent’s house in early 2020 alongside her sister Anna Johnston.

Anna Johnston, their third child, who is a year younger than Jonah was adopted from Siberia. Alex Johnston, who is 17-year-old was adopted from South Korea. Finally, Emma Johnston, who too is 17-year-old was adopted from China. The Johnston couple had no particular option for a state or country to adopt from. The choices were random and they followed their heart. Amber Johnston always took care of the paperwork while Trent signed them and took care of the financials.
