Earlier this month, Zach and Whitney shared the exciting news that they will welcome their fifth baby to the world in August 2023. Late last week, Whitney shared a new photo on her Instagram Story as she and her family hit the road for a weekend getaway. In the snap, the mom of four was riding in the passenger seat while her husband drove. She captured the gorgeous landscape in front of her and propped her feet up on the dashboard. She revealed that she, Zach, and the kids were going to visit Zach’s uncle and a few other relatives.
The former Bringing Up Bates star said, “It’s always special to me to get to see our kids enjoying their grandparents and great grandparents.”
She added, “Excited for a chill weekend.”

Bringing Up Bates fans fear for her safety, but why?
On Reddit, fans reposted the picture from Whitney’s Instagram Story. Many are concerned about the way she’s riding in the car, especially since she’s pregnant. One fan commented, “Colossally dumb idea to be riding down the highway with her feet on the dash.” Someone else called this a “careless” decision and expressed their fears for both Whitney and her unborn baby.
Another Bringing Up Bates viewer added, “My husband is a firefighter/paramedic and has told me horror stories about sitting like this. You can literally crack your pelvis in half if you were to crash.”
Yet another said, “I know someone paralyzed from this.”
Hopefully, Whitney is now aware of the risks of sitting like this in the car. She likely received many messages from concerned fans.
