Nanny Faye Says ‘Precious’ Julie Chrisley Helped Her Beat Cancer
Nanny Faye was a special guest on Savannah Chrisley’s most recent podcast episode and fans were hopeful this meant an update on her health and bladder cancer. As Tv Shows Ace previously reported, it was Chase Chrisley who first exclaimed their grandmother was officially cancer-free after taking her to a doctor’s appointment for a check-up. While fans were happy to know Nanny Faye was cancer free, they wondered how she was feeling after going through the necessary treatments to beat cancer. Moreover, was she in good health with Todd and Julie behind bars?
Fortunately, this topic of conversation did come up during her appearance on the podcast. And, she was happy to tell Chrisley Knows Best fans how she was feeling. So, what did everyone’s favorite reality TV grandmother have to say about her current health status? Keep reading for all the details.
Nanny Faye says ‘precious’ Julie Chrisley helped her beat cancer
Nanny Faye reassured Savannah’s listeners that she was feeling “great.” She proceeded to drop a bit of wisdom on fans of the reality TV family by pointing out that life isn’t always easy.
“I’m great. The world doesn’t always give you a good deck of cards to play with so you play with them the best you can. You get up, brush yourself off and keep going. I’m early to bed, early to rise. It makes you healthy, wealthy and wise.”
Savannah chimed in to praise her grandmother for being a “champ.” She recalled her grandmother being down for the count a day after getting treatment and then being ready to go the following day.
Switching gears slightly, Savannah pointed out that Nanny Faye’s life must be more challenging with both Todd and Julie behind bars.
Savannah acknowledged it was no secret that Julie and Todd were her primary caregivers. And, Nanny Faye agreed it has been extremely difficult losing both of them. She proceeded to explain that her “precious” daughter-in-law was with her through her battle against bladder cancer.
There wasn’t one treatment [for my bladder cancer] where my precious daughter-in-law wasn’t with me — not one time. Through it all, she’s been with me.”
Outside of Chloe and Grayson, Nanny Faye was a huge concern for Todd and Julie going behind bars. So much so that the couple did ask for staggered sentences so at least they could take turns caring for Nanny Faye and the children.
Sadly, fans fear Nanny Faye may pass away while Todd is behind bars because of her health and age mixed with the stress of her son being behind bars.
