GMA shunned Amy Robach from a special segment on Monday’s live broadcast. Fans are livid by what they witnessed on a recent broadcast. This week, the morning show is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the life-saving bone marrow transplant that Robin Roberts received. The morning has been airing special segments throughout the week.

Some of the co-anchors have taken to social media to share stories. Michael Strahan took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with his fellow co-hosts. The photo showed him in between Robin and George Stephanopoulos. They also pose with Lara Spencer and meteorologist Sam Champion.

While the post was about Robin, more fans wanted to know why he shunned Amy in the picture. Others noticed she wasn’t in the segment. Keep on reading to learn more.

GMA fans are stunned over Amy Robach being left out

Michael shared a loving tribute to Robin. He shared his touching message with the accompanying photo. She was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) in 2012. The rare disease causes the blood-forming cells in the bone marrow to become abnormal.

“Robin, we love you, and it was such an honor to stand by your side to celebrate a milestone of perseverance, courage, and to raise awareness to save lives,” Michael wrote in his caption. “Today we celebrated @robinrobertsgma ten years back from her bone marrow transplant with a huge event saving lives on @goodmorningamerica with @bethematch.”

Fans weren’t happy with Michael’s message or Monday’s segment. Many of them took to the comment section to share their thoughts. They noticed that GMA shunned fired co-host Amy Robach. Robin and Amy were good friends and were close during her treatment.

Shunned by her own ex-husband Andrew Shue

Meanwhile, Amy Robach has been shunned by her own ex-husband Andrew Shue. The couple is still legally married. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Andrew doesn’t want anything to do with the GMA3 co-anchor. The two aren’t on speaking terms lately.

Amy Robach has been busy traveling the world with her new love T.J. Holmes. The details of their alleged affair leaked in late November 2022. In early December 2022, the show suspended them from the third hour of the talk show. After several weeks of decisions and lengthy mediations, ABC confirmed they fired the duo from the show.
