Beyonce makes history at the Grammys

The “Break My Soul” singer showed up late to the Grammy’s. She was right on time when she made history during the award show. Beyonce broke the record for the most-awarded Grammy artist of all time. Her latest album Renaissance won Best Dance/Electronic Music Album.

This made her the first Black woman to win in that category. She also led this year’s Grammy’s with nine nominations. On top of that, the songstress has 32 wins. This comes on the heels of her highly-anticipated Renaissance World Tour, which will kick off in Europe in May 2022 before it comes to the U.S. in July.

Snubbed for Album of the Year

However, the Beyhive wasn’t having it when the Recording Academy snubbed Beyonce yet again for the coveted Album of the Year award. That award went to Harry Styles for his latest album, Harry’s House. The British pop star received backlash for his speech and for receiving the award. Many argued that the award should’ve gone to Queen Bey.

This isn’t the first time she’s been snubbed by the Recording Academy. Yet, many assumed that she would’ve won for her creative masterpiece, which didn’t come with visuals. It hit the top of many best-of-the-year lists. Fans took to Twitter during the live broadcast to express their rage over Beyonce’s snub for Renaissance.

Attends pre-Grammy’s lunch

Over the weekend, Beyonce unveiled one of her best looks yet. She also broke records. The “Cuff It” singer took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos. In the photos, she wore a silver foil mini-dress that featured an oversized bow and a silver handbag.

She paired the look with black stockings and silver metallic platform sandals. Beyonce wore her signature blonde hair in crimped waves. She also wore silver hoop earrings and kept the rest of her outfit simple.

Beyonce didn’t include a caption for her Instagram post. One wasn’t needed. She broke records on the social media app with over 2.6 million likes. Fans loved the custom-made Caléchie dress she wore for the pre-Grammy lunch.
