Carmen Electra performed with the Pussycat Dolls

Back in 2011, Carmen Electra made her comeback to the spotlight. The former scream queen performed with the Pussycat Dolls. Her appearance took place at the Sundance Film Festival. Carmen walked out to the stage and stripped off her costume.

She performed a burlesque routine with the Pussycat Dolls, who were a popular Las Vegas act and girl group at the time. For her debut performance, Carmen wore a black and pink striped corset with fishnet stockings and high-heeled boots. She also carried around a hot pink boa which she seductively danced with.

The former MTV star was one of the original stars of the Pussycat Dolls onstage dance ensemble, which was founded by Robin Antin in 1993. In 2003, she kicked out the original dancers, including Carmen, and started from scratch. She started a reality series competition in which she found a new group of Pussycat Dolls that would become a musical group.

Robin founded Nicole Scherzinger, who was a singer in the girl group Eden’s Crush, Ashley Roberts, Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, Kimberly Wyatt, and Melody Thornton. The famous girl group achieved global success. They were signed by Robin and Interscope Records.

The Pussycat Dolls expanded into a popular brand that included television specials and a Las Vegas act. They even performed at multiple venues across the nation. Robin said the sultry group was about “female empowerment.” In 2009, Nicole left the group and Robin looked for new members.

The skirt also featured red corset ties. Carmen finished off her look with black knee-high fishnet stockings and attached garters. She simply captioned the shot: “dolls 💋” and she tagged both the Pussycat Dolls and Robin Antin. The former Singled Out host reminisced over the time she performed with them.
