Jana is 33 years old but remains unmarried and appears to still live at her parents’ home. She’s the eldest of Jim Bob and Michelle’s daughters and has always been helpful with her younger siblings, nieces, and nephews. There were recent rumors that Jana had moved out of her parents’ home, but they were never confirmed.
In the past, fans have speculated that Jana doesn’t have a choice and that it isn’t an option for her to move out. She has slowly started doing her own thing while supposedly still living at home. For example, she now wears pants. This is typically frowned upon by the Duggars. However, this is just a small step and doesn’t mean that she’s truly breaking away like her sister Jinger Vuolo has.

In a new Instagram post, Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball mentioned that Jinger confirmed that Jana is trapped. She added #FreeJana, copying off of the Free Jinger website that was started years ago. Then, Katie Joy wrote, “Watch the Duggars try to come out saying that Jana moved out….Just to try to make Jinger look like she’s lying.”
In Jinger Vuolo’s new book, Becoming Free Indeed, she details her journey out of the Institute of Basic Life Principles (IBLP). She has been outspoken about how her family’s strict religious beliefs have affected her. And it sounds like they’ve caused Jana to be trapped under her dad’s thumb too.

Fans are hopeful that Jana will eventually be able to break free. They want to see her leave her parents’ home and live her own life as she pleases.
