It has been hard for fans to get Jen Shah’s side of the story. The RHOSLC star missed the reunion which is currently airing. Furthermore, she bailed out on a one-on-one interview to be held with Andy Cohen. This was a disappointment to fans as they were eager to hear what she had to say. Jen ultimately took to her Instagram to explain why she would not be meeting with Cohen. She explained it was: “because of their unwillingness to remove contractual provisions that would allow the network to legally make misrepresentations of me and my story, relating to any and all topics, prior to and during the course of my participation.”
Shah went on to add: ‘This specific 1 on 1 interview was not part of my RHOSLC reality TV contract. I promised myself and my loving family that I would not allow this portion of my life to be sensationalized or inaccurately conveyed.” Everyone was very curious about Jen and her 6.5-year prison sentence for conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Victims have spoken out and said that she defrauded them out of half of their life savings, sending them into a deep depression. Now, Jen has decided to find a way to tell her side.
According to Starcasm, Jen Shah has started her own website called DearJenShah.com. As of now, it just says that “the truth is coming.” Fans are encouraged to subscribe so that they can stay in the know about everything that is to come. It is unclear if there will be a fee associated or if it will remain active when Jen enters prison next month.
Next Up…
Jen Shah will start serving her almost seven-year sentence in the middle of February. However, through friends, family, and visitors, she can surely keep the site alive with updates and what she is up to while behind bars. This could allow her to have resources while in prison and when she is released. It is unclear when she will start to speak on her site but hopefully, it is sooner rather than later.
