‘Dancing With The Stars’: Where Is Keo Motsepe in 2023?
Whatever happened to professional dancer Keo Motsepe? Dancing With The Stars pros often come and go, but fans will always miss their favorites. Viewers loved watching him and Harry Potter actress Evanna Lynch compete on Season 27, where they ultimately finished in 3rd place.
The South African dancer was once a core part of the show, but wasn’t invited back for Season 30 or Season 31. So what exactly happened to Keo Motsepe and where is he now?
Fans are eager to hear from Keo Motsepe after his DWTS departure
Although it’s been a few years since Keo Motsepe appeared on DWTS, his fans haven’t forgotten him.
“Does anyone know why Keo is no longer on the show? I know he didn’t have much of a great run while being pro but he kinda just disappeared and nobody seems to have noticed,” one Redditor posted on the platform this week. The last time he competed on Dancing With The Stars was in Season 29 with the late Anne Heche.
“I have a feeling the reason isn’t one of the dramatic theories and he simply wasn’t needed back because there wasn’t room,” one Redditor replied. “Maybe we’ll get lucky and someone will request him (hopefully someone good) or they’ll have a vacant pro male spot and add him back.”
However, another Reddit user pointed out that most of the main DWTS cast no longer seem to keep in touch with Keo. He and Gleb Savchenko were once best friends, but they no longer follow one another on Instagram or post about each other.
Another Redditor said that his explosive breakup with Season 29 contestant Chrishell Stause likely had a lot to do with it, though a lot of that information isn’t public knowledge. Keo and the Selling Sunset star dated for a few months after Season 29 concluded and even vacationed together in Mexico. Shortly after, they broke it off and removed all photos of each other on social media. Later, Chrishell took to Instagram to share that the dancer had been manipulative and lied to her throughout their brief relationship.
So where is the professional dancer in 2023?
These days, Keo Motsepe definitely keeps a lower profile. His Instagram account is still active, but he posts very infrequently these days. The last time Keo posted on Instagram, he made a post ringing in the new year.
“Peace out ✌️ 2022, thank you 🙏🏾” he captioned the slideshow. Hundreds of fans liked the post, including DWTS pros Sasha Farber and Pasha Pashkov. However, Keo turned the comments off. Check out the video for yourself here:
Other than that, it’s not immediately clear where Keo Motsepe is these days or what projects he’s working on. His fans hope that he’ll be more active this year and might even make a return to Dancing With The Stars this fall.
