DeAnna Pappas and Stephen Stagliano ending their marriage

DeAnna Pappas Stagliano went to Instagram Thursday to share the sad news that she and Stephen are ending their marriage. She said, “It is with immense sadness, Stephen & I have decided to end our relationship as a couple. We have been working hard for a long time — both as a married couple & as individuals & have come to the conclusion to remain separate. We remain loving parents to our beautiful children, Addison & Austin, & will continue to raise them together with love & faith.”

DeAnna continued on asking fans for privacy and thanked their family and friends for all their support and many, many prayers. She noted it was the most difficult time of their lives.

DeAnna and Stephen have two children together, Addison, now 8, was born in February 2014 and Austin, now 6, was born in March 2016.

Her time in Bachelor Nation

DeAnna was first introduced to fans during Brad Womack’s first go around as The Bachelor. This was the infamous season where two women got to the final rose ceremony but neither was chosen and both were sent home. Brad would go on to later have a second chance at finding love.

DeAnna moved on and was cast as the next Bachelorette. She ultimately met and fell for Jesse Csincsak. However, that relationship was also not meant to be and they split after less than a year together.

After that she would meet Stephen through his twin. The two fell in love and the rest is history. In the past she has been open about the two of them attending couples therapy to try and make their marriage work. During a past interview she said, “We think you’re crazy if you don’t go to therapy. We are all a product of our environment and how we were raised and none of us are perfect.”
