What Is Hallmark’s The Way Home About?
According to the Hallmark synopsis, The Way Home is about three generations of women. This includes Del Landry (MacDowell), her daughter Kat Landry (Leigh), and her granddaughter Alice (Laflamme-Snow).
Twenty years ago, tragedy struck this family, and Kat left their small farm town of Port Haven. Now, she is back for the first time. However, this time it is with Alice, who has never met her grandmother, nor set foot in Port Haven. Moreover, Alice is not happy about this move. She doesn’t understand why they are leaving their home for the family farm.
In addition, Alice cannot understand what fractured her family. But, she soon discovers she can go back in time. Unaware of who she is, Alice befriends her younger mother and grandmother during a time when life was happy. They are totally different women!
Can Alice heal her family? Most of all, why is she the only one who has the magical ability to go back?
