Amber Johnston Schools TLC Fans, Her Life Isn’t Easy
Amber Johnston and her husband Trent (like many reality TV celebs) catch a lot of heat for living an easy life on their piles of money. What many fans don’t realize (and these celebs constantly remind them) is that the family will spend hours, days, and weeks filming that single 45-minute episode. Likewise, reality TV stars often don’t get paid as well as fans believe they do. Furthermore, reality TV fans often only see a small window into the lives of these stars. So, perhaps, it isn’t fair for fans to pass such harsh judgment.
In fact, Amber Johnston of TLC’s 7 Little Johnstons may have reached a breaking point with backlash and criticism as she school fans HARD in a recent Instagram post.
Do reality TV stars sign up for the judgment?
One of the biggest clap backs viewers at home have when reality TV stars try to remind them that they are still just regular people and are entitled to privacy is simply the fact that “this is what you signed up for.” Many reality TV fans agree that when someone signs up to be part of a reality TV show they are also agreeing to the fact that they won’t have a lot of privacy. So, the question becomes whether reality TV stars have a right to complain about criticism and backlash when it “comes with the territory.”
Amber Johnston pops off, her life isn’t easy
Amber Johnston of 7 Little Johnstons was quick to school fans about the fact that there are all sorts of things that happen behind the scenes that fans watching the TLC series just don’t see. Moreover, she seemingly took deep offense to the idea that her life was — in any part — easy.
Not shown: cleanup that took place after redcouch interviews, cooking dinner, and prepping for the week ahead. For all those folks who think our life is easy, NOBODY’s life is easy!
7 Little Johnstons fans react to Amber’s post
There was nothing but love in the comments of Amber’s post. Many of her followers even added that there was no reason for her to explain herself to random people on the Internet.
“There are a lot of jealous people in this would. It’s unfortunate for people these people because they miss out on seeing the good things in their own lives. We all need to look beyond what our eyes see and see what others may be going thru that we don’t know,” one compassionate fan penned.

Another agreed: “No need to explain. Y’all bear much fruit. It’s evident that there is no lazy, jobless folks in your crew. Actually the total opposite. “
