The clip showed her doing various exercises, including weight lifting and an intense core workout. Deborah marked the end of the workout with a sweaty selfie outside, saying “Same me but different!”

Roberts’ focus on her own health and self-care comes after her husband, Al Roker, has suffered numerous health issues in recent months. It was reported that Roker suffered from blood clots in his legs and lungs, leading to his being in critical condition.

Al Roker Returns To Today This Week

Since then, Deborah has been focusing a lot of her attention on helping her husband get well. Al Roker was released from the hospital earlier last month. He has been recovering for several weeks and still has a lot of physical therapy and healing.

However, Roker was able to make an appearance on the morning talk show virtually where he gave fans an update on his health and talked about his recovery.

“You lose a certain amount of muscle mass for every week you’re in the hospital and I was in the hospital for four weeks,” he said. “So there is a certain amount of weakness. I’m doing physical therapy every day, and occupational therapy. I’ve got to get my strength back.”

The Today Show host also said that he had a planned knee surgery for January that has to be pushed back now as well. Despite this, he seems to be in good spirits and focusing on improving his health for himself and his family. In his virtual appearance on Today, he said he felt strong.

There is a good chance that the 68-year-old will need time off in the future to continue to handle his health, but fans will be glad to hear that Al Roker is returning to Today on Friday, January 6. Will you be tuning in to see Al?
