Bill Cosby, 85, Plans Shocking Comeback To Entertaining In 2023
Between his old age and his dark criminal background, Bill Cosby is not a name anyone expected to see making plans to return to entertaining. It, however, appears as if the disgraced actor and comedian has big plans for 2023. Turns out, the 85-year-old has been trending on Twitter all night after a shocking announcement was made regarding his plans to come back to entertaining in 2023. What does he plan on doing exactly? And, how does the Internet feel about that?
Bill Cosby, 85, plans shocking comeback to entertaining in 2023.
At 85 years old, Bill Cosby has shocked everyone by recently admitting he would like to return to the stage and perform again. Per Variety, the disgraced actor and comedian made this claim during a surprise interview on a December 28 radio interview on “WGH Talk” with host Scott Spears.
The outlet went on to remind everyone that Bill Cosby, who is heading for 90, was convicted of sexual assault back in 2018. After a three-year prison stint, his conviction was overturned in 2021 and he was released. Now, the comedian is telling Scott Spears that “yes” he does plan to return to the stage to perform once more.
He tells the radio host interviewing him: “When I come out of this, I feel that I will be able to perform and be the Bill Cosby that my audience knows me to be.”
Probing for additional information, Scott Spears asked if this meant people could look for Cosby to officially go on tour in the year 2023. Bill confirmed the answer to the question was, “yes.”
Yes. Yes, because there’s so much fun to be had in this storytelling that I do. Years ago, maybe 10 years ago, I found it was better to say it after I write it.
Speaking directly to Variety, a rep of Bill Cosby confirmed the comedian is “looking at spring/summer to start touring.”
The Internet reacts to this information
Now, Bill Cosby has been trending on Twitter all night with thousands of people reacting to this news. Unsurprisingly, Bill is still a controversial subject. For the most part, those responding to the news indicate the shocking announcement was not well-received. Most seem to be in agreement that Bill Cosby has a history that can’t be recovered from. And, he shouldn’t be misguided into thinking a comeback is possible.
There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY Bill Cosby has anything funny to say and I can't begin to fathom who would actually think he was funny at this point.

Several individuals have popped in to joke about the situation. This included one tweet claiming they left Bill Cosby tickets on the dash of their car and someone broke in to leave a few more tickets. Others urged women to be careful drinking anything if they go to a Bill Cosby performance. Overall, it did not sound like everyone was rushing to buy tickets.
