Is Joose Jeskanen spending Christmas in the US with the 7 Little Johnstons family? Fans fell in love with the Johnston family’s exchange student, Joose. They enjoyed seeing him explore the US and watching him share parts of his culture with Trent and Amber’s family. In 2021, when Joose was staying with the Johnstons, he had the opportunity to spend Christmas with them. Fans have been hopeful that TLC will bring Joose back soon.
But is he back this year, or is he still in Finland?

Ahead of Christmas, Trent and Amber shared a new family photo on Instagram. The crew was all dressed up in matching pajamas, which even feature reindeer antlers. On the computer screen in front of the Johnstons, Joose was video chatting with them. He even had the same pajamas, so he was a part of the group photo. Fans loved that he was included, despite being in Finland.
This week, Emma shared a couple of photos of herself, Trent, Amber, Alex, and Joose all decked out in festive outfits. Of course, 7 Little Johnstons fans loved the post.

Is Joose Jeskanen in the US for Christmas?
In the comments section of her new Instagram post, Emma addressed one fan’s question about Joose visiting for Christmas. It looks like some of her followers were confused and thought these pictures were recent, which would mean that Joose is in town.
One 7 Little Johnstons fan asked, “He’s back for the holiday?” In response, Emma explained, “These pictures were taken back in October.”
In October, the Johnstons traveled to Finland to visit Joose and his mom and to get a taste of his culture. Though Joose couldn’t spend Christmas 2022 with the Johnstons, he will hopefully be able to catch up with them again soon.
