‘Britain’s Got Talent’: Audrey Leybourne Dead At 95
Sad news for Britain’s Got Talent fans as Audrey Leybourne has been confirmed dead at the age of 95.
As those who watch BGT know, Audrey appeared on the show at the age of 90. She was successful in impressing judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden by performing a cover of I Wanna Be Loved By You. The judging panel jokingly referred to her as a “minx” after she admitted to being in love with 22 gentlemen when she was asked about being married.
Through her performance on Britain’s Got Talent, Audrey Leybourne made the nation fall in love with her. She was so successful she went on to perform on a few other stage shows.

Britain’s Got Talent: Audrey Leybourne dead at 95
Considering her age, fans of BGT have no reason to suspect any foul play related to her death. In fact, some fans of the TV personality suspect she may have simply died of natural causes related to old age. Unfortunately, her official cause of death has not been made public. A reverend from her local church confirmed her passing with a statement paying tribute to the “remarkable” woman she was.
Reverend Simon Grigg penned in a beautiful tribute he attached to a photo of Audrey: “She was a remarkable person, a real ‘trouper’ of an actress (starting her career with Sir Donald Wolfit, no less) and a much loved member of St. Paul’s.”
Per the official statement from her church on Facebook. She did share a final statement she wanted to leave with people should she pass away: “If I pop off, tell everyone I don’t regret a thing. I’ve had a wonderful life.”
The reverend penned at the end of the statement in response to her final words and the end of her beautiful life: “Quite a statement. Quite a lady. Quite a Christian.”
She did what she loved
Audrey Leybourne was a performer through and through. And, she died wanting people to know she lived a full life with no regrets. Her exciting career included being part of a veteran dance troupe and a regular on Les Dawson’s BBC show back in the 80s.
