Her bandmate, Stevie Nicks has also issued a statement about how painful it was to lose one of her best friends. In her statement, Stevie only learned Christine was sick at the very last minute. She wanted to go to the hospital and be there for her friend. But, she was asked to wait.
Stevie penned at the end of her letter to her late friend: “See you on the other side my love. Don’t forget me.”
