‘Supernatural’ Nicki Aycox Dead At 47: Cause Of Death
Tragic news for Supernatural fans as Nicki Aycox was confirmed dead at 47. For those unfamiliar with her name, Nicki Aycox played the role of Meg Masters during Season 1 and Season 4 of Supernatural. Across multiple social media platforms, many fans agree she was many people’s favorite version of Meg. Sadly, it was Nicki’s sister-in-law who took to Facebook this week to break the news that the Supernatural star passed away.
As those who had followed the actress knew, Nicki Aycox was diagnosed with leukemia a little over a year ago.
Supernatural Nicki Aycox Dead At 47
While she was best known for her role in Supernatural, Nicki also played Grace in Perfect Stranger and Minxie Hayes in Jeepers Creepers 2.
Her sister-in-law penned in her tribute to the late actress: “My beautiful, smart, fierce, incredibly talented, and loving sister-in-law, Nicki Aycox Raab, passed away yesterday with my brother, Matt Raab, by her side. Nicki and Matt had a wonderful life together in California. She was definitely a fighter and everyone who knew her loved her.”
On Instagram, Nicki Aycox refers to herself as a “former actress.” She added that she was battling Leukemia and she was preparing to have her second stem cell transplant. Sadly, it had been 34 weeks since the last time she posted on her profile. Nicki was also a proud vegan chef that enjoyed sharing her recipes on Instagram before she started documenting her cancer battle.
