According to an exclusive report from TMZ, sources with direct knowledge have confirmed Jason David Frank’s cause of death was suicide at the age of 49. The actor is best known for his role as Tommy Oliver in the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The kids’ TV series originally debuted back in 1993. He was one of the six OG power rangers.
As fans of the OG Power Rangers will recall, Jason David Frank first played the role of the Green Ranger during Season 1. Initially, he was introduced as an enemy. He, however, did become a good guy. In time, his powers faded and he shifted into being the White Ranger. The actor had one of the leading roles in the series for three seasons which totaled 123 episodes.
