‘BIP’ Rodney Addresses Messy Accusations With Lace
Bachelor in Paradise Rodney opens up
Everyone on Bachelor in Paradise seems pretty happy in their relationships until someone new comes along. This is exactly what just happened with Rodney Bachelornation.com reports. He was happily dating Eliza, however, she ended up leaving him for Justin instead. Of course, Rodney was absolutely gutted over this split. However, fans are starting to point something out – how is this different from what he did to Lace?
Earlier in the season, Rodney ended things with Lace because he just didn’t want to waste her time. However, now that fans are pointing out the similarities, Rodney seems totally open to the fact that he probably did hurt Lace, just as he is hurt now by Eliza, however, he did it for a good reason.
“I’ve seen some of those comments about me doing the same thing to Lace that Eliza did to me. At the end of the day, as much love as I’m going to get, I will take the same amount of criticism as well. At the time down there on the beach, my relationship with Lace didn’t compare to what I had with Eliza. It was a completely different level,” he divulges.
It seems that while it was sad for Lace at the time, it really was best for him to end things with her if he was secretly waiting for Eliza to show up the whole time.
Still friends?
Of course with every breakup on Bachelor in Paradise, comes a reunion. Rodney reveals that at the BIP reunion, he does get to address Lace about what went down. And, of course, he is very happy for the time that they did get to spend together.
Unfortunately for Rodney, despite all of this, he still ended up single and brokenhearted.
