Witney Carson Announces She’s Been Keeping A Secret
There’s going to be another Dancing With The Stars baby — Witney Carson made the announcement during tonight’s semifinals episode. She and her husband Carson McAllister are expecting another baby in the new year!
The Season 19 champion joins her best friends Lindsay Arnold and Jenna Johnson who are also currently expecting. Jenna and Lindsay opted to sit Season 31 out due to their pregnancies. It’s not clear how far along Witney is, but she’s early enough in her pregnancy that she can keep dancing.
She and her partner Wayne Brady have a very strong shot at the Mirrorball Trophy. It’s likely that she will make it one more week, but may step out if she needs to for the sake of her health and the baby’s health.
Witney Carson shared her big news during tonight’s live episode
Dancing With The Stars pro Witney Carson absolutely loves ballroom dance. But above all else, she really loves being a mom. Her young son Leo will be two years old in January and he frequently comes to visit her on the set. The little family had an amazing time dressing up for Halloween together. But by this time next year, there will be another new baby in the family.
Witney has discussed expanding her family in the past and said that future pregnancies might force her to step away from DWTS. She missed out on Season 29 because she was expecting Leo at the time. Depending on her due date, she may come back for Season 32. But right now, it’s too soon to tell.
The dancer chose to share her good news after she and Wayne Brady performed the opening dance of the night. She told the ballroom that she was expecting another baby. The room proceeded to erupt in thunderous applause.
Without a doubt, Witney, Lindsay, and Jenna will have an amazing time getting together for playdates with their little ones. And in a few years, fans may be able to see the next generation of dancers appear on Dancing With The Stars.
The women all shared that they would never force their kids to dance. But fans definitely wouldn’t be disappointed to see the little ones follow in their mothers’ footsteps.
Dancing With The Stars Season 31 continues for one more week
Witney Carson and Wayne Brady would love to take home the Mirrorball Trophy this year, but they’ll need votes from fans to make that happen. They’ve been considered top contenders since the show’s first week, but they’ll need to skate past the competition first.
Stay tuned for more exciting Dancing With The Stars news and updates. Don’t forget that the DWTS Season 31 finale takes place next Monday night at 8 PM eastern time. Tune in and see who will take home the Mirrorball Trophy!
