‘DWTS’: Lindsay Arnold Reveals New Baby’s Gender
DWTS pro Lindsay Arnold chose to sit Season 31 out. At the time, she told fans that she just really wanted to focus on her daughter Sage. But now, it seems like Lindsay was hiding a personal secret. She’s expecting! She and her husband Sam will welcome another baby into the family in May 2023.
Now, the dancer is far enough along that she knows the gender of her unborn child. Is Sage going to have a little brother or a little sister? Keep reading to find out!
Lindsay Arnold and family throw a cute gender reveal party
Earlier this year, Lindsay Arnold thought she was pregnant. Sadly, it ended up being a false positive and she was devastated. It makes sense that she waited so long to tell the world that she and Sam were expecting again. But now, the dancer and her family are really getting excited about the new baby.
“That’s when I finally was like, ‘Oh my goodness, this is happening and let’s just trust the process,’” the Season 25 champion told PEOPLE. “I think that’s something I’ve really learned throughout all of the things, is to trust your body, trust the timing, trust God’s timing, and that’s what we’re doing.”
This week, Lindsay decided it was time to share her gender reveal with the world. She uploaded a sweet video to her Instagram page sharing the big moment with her followers.
In the video, Lindsay and her husband Sam are blindfolded. Their daughter Sage walks out to them in a bright pink dress while loved ones shoot off pink smoke into the air as they take off the blindfolds. When the couple sees all the pink, they couldn’t be more delighted.
“IT’S A……….. 💕💙💕💙 GIRL!!!! 💕💕💕💕🤗🤗🤗🤗 we are beyond excited to bring another sweet girl into our family and so so happy that Sage will have a sister,” the Season 25 champion captioned the video.
The dancer’s friends, family, and fans sounded off in the comments to wish the family well.
“This is THE CUTEST!!!!!! Sage in her pink dress 😢 can’t wait for another sweet girl!” Lindsay’s best friend Witney Carson wrote on the video.
“Cannot wait to meet sweet baby GIRL!!!!!!!” Jenna Johnson added. She is currently expecting a baby boy in January.
