On Thursday, the journalist shared an update on the category 1 storm as he stood on the beachfront of Jensen Beach, Florida. Rob explained the extent of the damage left behind by the rare late-season event. He held up the debris that washed up ashore as several photos and videos flashed onscreen showing the destruction and flooding caused by the storm.

Although fans were appreciative of the TV personality’s efforts, they were also worried about the reporter. As per The Sun, he was dangerously close to the huge waves crashing along the barrier right behind. One concerned reporter tweeted, “Watching @RobMarciano and @Ginger_Zee reporting from Florida while those waves are crashing behind them…STRESS. One of those waves got too close to Rob and Ma yells ‘can he report from someplace that ISN’T THE BEACH’. ‘Can yall bring our weather ppl home?’ She is so stressed.”

Rob also gave the viewers another look at the rough weather conditions on the East Coast as he reported on Friday from Atlanta, Georgia. The meteorologist provided details of what was to come as he stood on the sidewalk as it poured heavily. Followers also caught a glimpse of the dangerous weather conditions after the reporter shared several videos and pictures on his Instagram Stories.

In one of these clips, the weather reporter was blasted by huge waves as he reported alongside the rough waters. However, the journalist didn’t seem worried by the waves as he turned his head away for a moment before he turned his attention back to the camera.
