Former TLC’s Counting On star Jana Duggar has surfaced in a rare photo amid her months-long social media break. She last posted on her Instagram profile in March but made an appearance on Thursday. Keep reading for all of the details and see why Jana was finally pictured online again.

Jana’s Instagram followers probably noticed that she hasn’t posted much on social media these days. Many members of the Duggar family have opted to lay low amid all of Josh’s legal drama. He’s now behind bars serving a 12-and-a-half-year sentence on child pornography charges.
Due to Josh’s crimes, his family has received a lot of criticism, even on posts not related to him. Regardless of what they post, fans and critics make comments about Josh. So, it looks like many of the family members have decided to lay low to prevent some of the negative attention. Jana Duggar is one member of the family who seems to be enjoying some peace and quiet away from the stress and drama.
Jana last posted on Instagram in March and only shared one post that month. She also posted one in February. In January, she had several pictures and videos for fans to enjoy.

But now, she’s been silent on social media for eight months. Naturally, fans are wondering where she is. Amid her hiatus, she did make a rare appearance in a selfie with one of her younger sisters.
Joy-Anna Forsyth shares a rare photo featuring her older sister.
In an Instagram Stories post on Thursday, Joy-Anna shared a snap of herself at an ultrasound appointment. She’s currently expecting her third baby and is 12 weeks along now. Surprisingly, Jana Duggar tagged along to Joy-Anna’s most recent doctor’s visit. She didn’t say why, but it’s possible Austin Forsyth couldn’t join her this time due to work or needing to watch their two kids.
Joy-Anna said, “Checkup on baby this morning! Aunt Jana came along.” The sisters smiled as Joy-Anna showed off the sonogram photos.

So, while Jana Duggar didn’t post on her own Instagram page yet, fans did get to see her on Joy-Anna’s. She appears to be doing well, based on what is visible from Joy-Anna’s new photo of her. It’s unclear when and if Jana will make a return to Instagram at this point.
