‘Michael Buble Night’: Who Did The ‘DWTS’ Judges Send Packing?
Michael Buble Night on Dancing With The Stars has come to a close. There were many spectacular routines and a few surprises along the way. Viewers even got a chance to watch judge Derek Hough perform with his fiancee, Hayley Erbert.
Although the night was particularly enjoyable, one more couple left the competition. The top 10 are now down to the top 9. So who stayed and who left?
Keep reading to get the answers.
Michael Buble Night ends in another surprising elimination
To the surprise of many DWTS viewers, Heidi D’Amelio and Artem Chigvintsev were in the bottom two couples last week. However, the judges voted to save them and send home Joseph Baena and Daniella Karagach instead. Were Heidi and Artem able to stay out of the bottom during Michael Buble Night?
Len Goodman had so much confidence in Heidi that he vowed to show his rear end at the grocery store if they were eliminated after Michael Buble Night. Thankfully, that didn’t happen. She and Artem weren’t even in the bottom two.
Tonight, Jessie James Decker and Alan Bersten were in the bottom two alongside Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater. It was a tough choice, but the judges had to choose one to stay for week seven.
Bruno Tonioli voted to save Trevor and Emma while Derek Hough voted to save Jessie and Alan. Carrie Ann Inaba voted to save Trevor and Emma. Len Goodman’s vote served as the tiebreaker and he voted for Trevor and Emma, which meant Jessie and Alan went home.
Many fans are disappointed, but the couple performed well and should be really proud of their performances so far. They even managed to win “King and Queen of the Ballroom” last week!
Which couples dominated the leaderboard?
It wasn’t a surprise to many viewers that Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas once again defended their spot at the top of the leaderboard. They scored a perfect 50/50 points during Michael Buble Night. Derek Hough even said he would even award them more points if he was able to.
Gabby Windey and Val Chmerkovskiy also performed well as did Wayne Brady and Witney Carson. Shockingly enough, Wayne managed to pull off a decent Quickstep even though he was sick last week and didn’t start rehearsal until last Friday night.
But now, the competition is really coming down to the wire. The top nine will need to step up their game if they want to stick around for another week.
Stay tuned for more exciting Dancing With The Stars updates. Michael Buble Night may be done, but there are still several more exciting weeks in the competition. Next week is Halloween Night, so stay tuned and see what the top 9 bring to the ballroom next week.
