Esther Bates Under Serious Pressure Just Days After Giving Birth?
Bringing Up Bates fans are concerned that Esther Bates, Nathan’s wife, might be under some major pressure shortly after having her first baby. In case you missed the news, the couple welcomed their daughter, Kenna Joy, to the world on October 17. She’s a happy and healthy baby.
But fans are now afraid Esther might be overdoing it during her recovery. What’s going on?

The Bringing Up Bates couple tied the knot on October 22, 2021. So, this weekend, they celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
On their Instagram Stories over the weekend, Nathan and Esther shared a few photos as they enjoyed a night out on their anniversary. Despite welcoming Kenna to the world just five days prior, they went out to dinner at Ruth’s Chris. And it looks like they got all dressed up for the occasion.

On Reddit, fans are talking about Nathan and Esther Bates’ anniversary posts and the fact that she went out to dinner just a few days after having her first child. Fans wondered if she truly felt comfortable getting all dressed up and doing her makeup before leaving the house.
Several fans who have also had babies said that they were still in the hospital five days after birth or that they didn’t feel like they could even leave their bed at this point.
One fan said, “I hope she really wanted to go out to celebrate, felt physically up to it, and didn’t get pushed into going. I was just being discharged from the hospital 5 days after delivery and definitely would not have been up to dressing up and eating out.”
Someone else added, “I have concerns she may NOT have felt like going out but was guilted/coerced into going bc your headship should always come first.”
Of course, there is no way for fans to know what really happened. But it looks like Nathan and Esther enjoyed themselves. Hopefully, her recovery goes smoothly.
